Craigmaha Lodge At Loch Tay Highland Holiday Park

Craigmaha Lodge is a self catering lodge on the banks of Loch Tay in Perthshire. It provides two bedroom detached self-catering accommodation in the Heart of Perthshire in the Scottish Highlands.

It is the perfect retreat for couples and families set within a private estate and surrounded by stunning scenery. Situated in the grounds of the Loch Tay Highland Lodge Park, Craigmaha is a Scandinavian pine lodge built to the highest specification. It is in an ideal location to explore the Perthshire countryside and the surrounding area.

Craigmaha Lodge is south facing and has its own private verandah, with table and chairs, which looks out across Loch Tay and to the hills beyond. It is fitted out to a superior standard providing comfortable home-from-home self catering accommodation.

This stunning Highland location allows visitors to choose between a relaxing break or go for a more energetic activity based holiday. Either way, the lodge provides an ideal year round destination for couples and families alike.

On entering the lodge, there is a large open plan living/dining kitchen area, all of which enjoy the stunning views out across Loch Tay and the harbour through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The living and dining area provides the perfect environment for relaxing with a good book, observing life on the loch or snuggling up with your loved one to watch your favourite film. There is a DVD player integrated into the TV.

Craigmaha has been recently refurbished to the highest standards. You will find the fitted kitchen fully equipped with everything you would expect including a cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The central hallway leads off the main living area and gives access to the two bedrooms - one double and one twin and the family sized bathroom. Both bedrooms have ample wardrobe space as well as cabinets and lamps. The bathroom has a bath and shower.

All bed linen and electricity costs are included. A hairdryer is also provided. There is also a storage/drying room at the end of the main hallway for any wet weather gear or wetsuits.

Free and ample parking is provided on the lodge's own private graveled driveway situated to the side of the property.

The Boathouse Restaurant and Bar is located within the estate grounds overlooking the loch and provides a welcome escape offering everything from a light supper to a three course menu or just a relaxing drink in the bar.

The nearby village of Killin is just three miles away and provides a range of shops including newagents, Co-op (open until 10pm each night), Post Office as well as craft and antique shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants and other visitor attractions.
