Crofton House is a converted traditional house and barn situated on Market Street it is one of the oldest properties in Ullapool and it’s existence pre dates the construction of the village by the Fisheries Commission in the 1700s.
This pet friendly house has been refurbished to an extremely high standard and sleeps 8 people in three double and one twin bedded room.
The twin beds can be zip and linked to form a super kingsize bed.
The accommodation comprises of a large lounge/dining room in the barn with its cathedral ceiling and exposed stone walls and open plan kitchen and has a galleried fourth bedroom in the eaves.
The well equipped traditional style cooks kitchen with Belfast sink and Iroko wood work surfaces has an integrated dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Electric Ceramic hob and double electric oven and American style fridge/freezer. A Rayburn cooker with integrated Central Heating boiler provides hot water and central heating and a further two large ovens.
A Clearview Pioneer multi fuel stove provides a wonderful focal point, initial supply of logs and kindling provided.
The property also has a full bathroom with original claw foot cast iron bath, separate corner shower, WC and wash hand basin, the second bathroom has an extra large walk in shower, WC and wash hand basin.
The large south facing under floor heated conservatory has a further seating and dining area.
The enclosed garden has drying facilities, seating, barbecue area and off road parking for up to four cars.
Other amenities include free WiFi, large flat screen TV with satellite freeview and DVD player and radio CD player.
Pet friendly -well behaved pets are very welcome- by arrangement with owner.
