    From the nearest information centre:- From Coldstream. 5 miles north of Coldstream. Take the A697 and take the first left after the B6461, turn off to Eccles village. From Kelso, take the B6461 out of Kelso for 6 miles to Eccles village and turn left at the end of Eccles then first right to the farm.

    Getting there by railway:- 18 miles from Berwick Station. Take the A68 to Cornhill on Tweed, then the A697 via Coldstream. Crosshall Farm is 5 miles north of Coldstream on the A697, turn left along the farm road.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- 50 miles from Edinburgh Airport. take the A8 to Edinburgh then the Western by-pass to Dalkeith, then the A68 to Carfraemill, then the A697 via Greenlaw. Crosshall Farm is 5 miles south of Greenlaw on the right along the farm road.
