Highland Holiday Cottages offer luxury 4 star self catering holiday accommodation in the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. Crubenbeg Highland Holiday Cottages is a small privately owned business providing superior four star self catering accommodation and facilities in spectacular Cairngorm National Park settings. Our Crubenbeg holiday cottages are located only a short drive from Newtonmore, Dalwhinnie, Kingussie and Aviemore. Upon arrival you will find clean wonderful self catering cottages with a few extra special touches. All of our luxury four star highland holiday cottages are located in serene settings with spectacular panoramic views of the Cairngorm Mountains.
Each cottage at our Highland Holiday Cottages has Satellite, TV & DVD player a small DVD library along with a CD Player. Broad Band Wi-Fi access in all cottages free of charge. We also offer fly fishing rods for FREE to fish on the lochan for brown trout. We are also GOLD rated by The Green Buisiness Tourist Scheme.
Satinband quality linen and fresh white towels are provided as standard along with Eco Cleaning Products and other green products. Warm woolly throws are on all the beds and blankets are available in the cupboards along with electric blankets on all beds.
Each cottage has a Charnwood Wood Burning stove - with the exception of Pine Cottage which has a living flame gas fire.
Loch-an “pond” is stocked with Trout and you can fish for free (fly only). If you are lucky enough to catch one of the elusive Crubenbeg monsters you can either buy them for £5.00 or hand them in at the house.
Kitchens are equipped with four star standard utensils. We provide a blender, cafetiere, small thermos flask, knife sharpener and many other little things to make your stay more comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.
There is a full size golf practice area, clubs and balls are available and free to use. The communal games room has a free to use pool table and many other things to keep kids of all ages happy. In the summer periods there is a volley ball and badminton net set up in the garden area. The barbeque area is found within the stone walled garden area and is also communal, if you prefer you can borrow a BBQ to use. There is a communal laundry room available for a wash or dry at a small cost. Also in the laundry room, back by popular demand (!) is a brand new ice machine... so you can snuggle in front of your fire with a dram with ice!
