Dalnaspidal Guest House

Overview

With endless rolling green hills, valleys and fields, a magnificent blue ocean, old stone dykes, quaint little streams and abundant life (of the wild, winged and tamed variety), it is this setting that makes Dalnaspidal truly spectacular and memorable. True to its gaelic meaning 'field of shelter', Dalnaspidal Guest House is a haven of peace and tranquility, offering luxurious accommodation, superior service and and a warm friendly welcome. Why not come and experience for yourself the finest Scottish and South African hospitality, right here in the heart of Kintyre.

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a relaxing holiday, sporting weekend or just a base to explore the surrounding beauty of the Kintyre Peninsula or perhaps even the neighbouring islands of Gigha, Arran and Jura, Dalnaspidal is ideally situated with many of these facilities located right here on our doorstep. Located at Tangy (2 miles off the main Campbeltown road) in a spectacular rural setting with magnificent views down a valley to the Atlantic Ocean and Islay, Dalnaspidal is only 10 minutes from Campbeltown and 15 minutes from the world renowned Machrihanish Golf Course (free shuttle service available).

Dinners are available on request and consist of menus comprising traditional Scottish and South African cuisine (2 course meal £12, 3 course meal £16 and 4 course meal £20). Packed lunches, picnic lunches or portable BBQs and BBQ packs are available on request. If preferred you can dine in true South African style and request a BBQ for dinner freshly prepared in our custom-built indoor BBQ.

Dalnaspidal is therefore ideal for short, weekend or long holiday breaks, but for those not lucky enough to be on holiday, with wireless internet access and desks in all the bedrooms why not make Dalnaspidal your 'office' while away on business.

Please note that NO single supplement applies.

Whatever the occasion we look forward to welcoming you to Dalnaspidal Guest House.
