The estate also offers its own informal friendly 11-hole golf course,  interesting walks are around the golf course and nearby and there is plenty of opportunity for fishing, The River Tweed is also only a short distance away, Great walking, horse riding and cycling routes in the area. Both properties make an ideal touring base, and our location means that the Border towns, such as Melrose, Selkirk, Hawick and Jedburgh are just a short distance drive. Edinburgh is also an easy 1 hour (approx) drive away and can be reached via public transport easily from nearby Ashkirk on the A7.

The nearby villages of Lilliesleaf and Ashkirk both have pubs and coffe shop which serve good food. Also Ashkirk is a home to the highly regarded Woll Golf Course.
