    Nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands amongst picturesque rural and coastal scenery, the Park enjoys expansive views of the beautiful Dornoch Firth which has become a popular holiday destination for many people over the years. The area offers numerous sporting and family attractions, fascinating heritage, a wealth of wildlife, spectacular beaches and memorable walks.

    We are 2 miles north of Tain, Scotland's oldest Royal Burgh and home to Tesco, Asda, Lidl and Home Bargains for food shopping as well as to a number of cafes and restaurants. For golfers, Tain, boasts an excellent 18-hole golf course and visitors staying at the Park receive a 15 per cent discount when playing there - just ask for a discount voucher when you book your holiday.

    The quaint cathedral town of Dornoch with its variety of specialist shops and superb beaches lies about 6 miles north of the Park and the world-famous John O'Groats is 89 miles to the north. Easily accessible, just off the A9 at the Meikle Ferry roundabout and only 45 minutes north of Inverness, the Park is an ideal base for day trips and excursions in every direction.

    We have a 12-month holiday licence, however, between October and April, touring and camping pitches are available for rent at the Park Owner's discretion, depending on the weather conditions.

    • Dogs Welcome A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed per booking. Dogs on touring pitches are FREE. In static caravans, because of increased cleaning costs incurred, charges apply, as follows: large dogs: £25/week or £5/night small dogs: £20/week or £4/night.

    • Eating Out Facilities within 2 miles There is a range of eating places in Tain, including Indian and Chinese restaurants, hotels, pubs and cafes.
    • Shop within 2 Miles / Mobile Shop A mobile butcher visits the Park on Thursday mornings and the fish van calls on Thursdays, too. In addition to various high street shops, Tain boasts several supermarkets: Tesco, Lidl, Asda, Home Bargains and the Coo-op.
