Drumboy Lodge is a spacious, family run, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, luxury accommodation situated on a quiet working farm near Strathaven, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.
The four bedrooms (2 double and 2 twin) should suit any combination of holiday maker, whether it be a family, or a group of people wishing to walk, ride, fish, play golf or explore historic Scotland. All bedrooms are very spacious and have reently been fitted with flatscreen TVs. The two double rooms have large en-suite bathrooms with showers. All bed linen and towels are provided and are changed every Friday. The main bathroom has a bath, to relax in, at the end of a busy day. Fully double glazed property, with oil central heating throughout. The fully fitted kitchen/dining room contains a table and chairs, cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, toaster, kettle and a complete range of crockery. A dishwasher has also been installed, so that no-one needs to spend precious holiday time washing dishes!!
There is also a kids TV room with video and a spacious lounge with large TV and DVD player overlooking beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.The area is steeped in history with the lounge overlooking the very beautiful Loudounhill and the Irvine Valley, where the Battle of Loudounhill and the Battle of Drumclog were fought.
Drumboy Lodge has wheelchair access throughout the property. Wi-Fi access can be arranged for you.

A discount of £100 per week is offered for 4 people or less staying in the lodge, and although high season changeovers are normally on a Friday, every effort will be made to try to accommodate your holiday dates.

Many kinds of wild-life live in this area. Owls, buzzards, heron, deer, foxes and hedgehogs, to name but a few. With a little luck, you may just catch a glimpse of one of them. Cows, sheep, horses and birds can be seen every day. Drumboy is a working farm with a beef herd, so there may even be a calf born during your stay! As this is a working farm, we are sorry, but no pets are allowed.
