Drumearn Cottage

A Delightful Victorian Cottage, peacefully situated in the Conservation Village of Comrie. Your hosts Helen and Eric welcome you to their tastefully restored cottage, furnished to the highest of standards, whilst retaining its period charm.

A warm welcome is assured at Drumearn Cottage with tea/coffee and home baking in the residents lounge on arrival. The individually styled bedrooms have both en-suite facilities as well as Colour TV's, Radios, Hair Dryers and Hospitality Trays. A Hearty Scottish Breakfast is guaranteed with a variety of choice, accompanied with home made breads, oatcakes and preserves. The Cottage is strictly non-smoking. Evening meals available by arrangement.

WiFi and internet acess are also provided.

Comrie is situated amidst some of the most breathtaking scenery in Scotland and the village has a good selection of local shops, hotels and a range of eating places to suit all pockets. Visitors, whether coming to the area simply to see the sights or to pursue the more strenuous outdoor activities, have an abundance of choices on offer.

Within the village itself there is the Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre set in 100 acres with its own Picnic areas and Woodland Walks. Visit Earthquake House erected in 1869 to record earthquakes and is equipped with seismographic instruments and still in use today.

Outdoor pursuits are well catered for and include amongst other things:

WALKING: To suit all levels of fitness, ranging from well marked paths around Comrie to the more challenging high level routes including the two local Munros Ben Chonzie and Ben Vorich.

FISHING: A wealth of Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout waters, including Loch Earn and the River Earn.

GOLF: Comrie, Crieff, St Fillans and Gleneagles all virtually on your doorstep.

CYCLING: Uncrowded roads and paths around the area make cycling an excellent way to appreciate the wonderful scenery sailing and...

WATER SPORTS: Locally at Loch Earn.
