Kilspindie House-The perfect base for golfing and bird watching with award winning cuisine. All within easy reach of Edinburgh City Centre.
Having undergone an extensive refurbishment Kilspindie House has been granted a three star rating from Visit Scotland as a Restaurant with Rooms.
Kilspindie House was taken over in 2004 by Malcolm and Fiona Duck. Already passionate restaurateurs with their well established Duck's at Le Marche Noir restaurant in Edinburgh, Duck's is renowned for excellent food and wine, as well as extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Both the restaurant and head chef came highly commended at the 2006 Scottish Chef Awards.
Duck's at Kilspindie House is surrounded by 21 golf courses, including the famous Muirfield and 5 Open Qualifying Courses, all within 15 minutes of the hotel. The staff welcomes any enquiries and will happily make all golf and transport bookings. Aberlady also has a fantastic bird life and in recognition of that, Duck's has teamed up with the Scottish Ornithological Centre (SOC) and can offer all inclusive bird watching packages. These include dinner, bed and breakfast and guided walks and lectures by the SOC.
East Lothian has a superb beach coastline affording excellent walks and water sports. There are also a number of castles and country houses in the area well worth visiting.
Combine this with our fantastic location and proximity to Edinburgh, and you will understand why we have so many visitors coming back!
