If you are heading for the Isle of Skye, Plockton and the north-west coast, Duirinish Lodge is a very special place to stay ~ that's what most of our guests have told us for the past 5 years ~ "The best self-catering holiday we have ever had" is a typical remark in the guest book. The Lodge is set in 18 acres of private woodland gardens, overlooking the sea and with stunning views to Skye, Applecross and Torridon. There's a gazebo, a terrace and the chance to eat out in the glory of a north-west sunset. You can rent the Lodge as a whole { Sleeping up to 12 in 7 bedrooms}; or you can rent a wing. The West Wing sleeps up to 8 in 4 bedrooms , while the East Wing sleeps up to 4 in 3 bedrooms. Each wing is completely self- contained and has all its own facilities and equipment. Inside, the lodge is beautifully and comfortably furnished ~ designed by Drysdale's of Edinburgh ~ a delightful mix of the traditional and the contemporary. Kitchens and bathrooms are superbly equipped. If you are into indoor entertainment , you'll find satellite tv, dvd, cd, play-station, games room, pool table and more. The delights of Plockton and the many attractions of the Isle of Skye are easily accessible from Duirinish .We provide bicycles for your enjoyment. We welcome children of all ages and pets. Child care can be provided on request. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the lodge. We look forward to welcoming you to Duirinish at any time of the year. Costs and availability The West Wing can be rented for between £800 ~ £1750 per week depending on the season. The East Wing costs between £375 ~ £800 a week. The entire Lodge can be rented between £1200 ~ £2750 per week, providing a wonderful and secluded holiday for up to 12 people. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Between October and March the property can be let for long weekends or shorter lets of 3-6 days.
