Dunstane House Hotel

Overview

The friendliest luxury hotel in Edinburgh which combines country style and the tranquility of a small castle only minutes walk from the bustling city centre. A magnificent Victorian Mansion, built in 1852 and still retains many original features, such as fireplaces, wood panelling, stained glass windows and spectacular ornate cornices. Our on-site car parking is a rareity for City Centre Hotels and we also provide free wi-fi throughout the hotel.

Dunstane House has nineteen luxury bedrooms, all personally designed by the owner in restful tones to put you instantly at ease, with lots of in-room facilities to help you feel right at home. All the comfort and elegance of a Scottish country house but with Edinburgh's city centre reassuringly close by. Our Large Deluxe Bedrooms offer that extra elegance and luxury to compliment your romantic break in Edinburgh. Most feature magnificent super-king size four poster beds or large stunning feature headboards.

The ‘Taste of Scotland’ awarded Skerries Restaurant has recently been refurbished and is essential during your stay with us, offering mouth wathering menus incorporating the best of larder from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Our newly designed Stane Bar is the place to relax before or after and have a few drams; you have over 90 malt whiskys to choose from plus a good selection of local beers.
