Dunvegan Bed & Breakfast

Dunvegan is a family home built in the centre of Dufftown, Malt Whisky Capital, in 1892 by The Duke of Fife.

Stuart and Helen aim to offer you first class hospitality and comfort whether you are visiting the area to follow the world famous Malt Whisky Trail, many distilleries close by, Glenfiddich, Glenlivet and Aberlour to mention only 3, or The Castle Trail or enjoying a round of golf on our beautiful local course or try some of the local walks in the area or something a little more challenging - Ben Rinnes.

Stuart and Helen until 2008 owned and ran the 4* B&B Creag-Na-Mara in East Mey, Caithness.

ALL MAJOR CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS ACCEPTED
The two double, en-suite rooms and our two twin rooms (with shared bathroom) are all comfortably furnished and have tea/coffee making facilities, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, central heating and for your comfort in winter, electric blankets.

On your arrival you will be welcomed with a cup of tea/coffee and homemade scones and jam. This will be served in our Guest Lounge where you are welcome to sit and relax, watch television, read the literature on Dufftown and the surrounding area or chat to your fellow travellers.

We also provide evening meals but these must be pre-booked (the morning of your arrival will suffice).

At breakfast you can help yourself from a selection of cereals, porridge, fruit, and yoghurt, followed by a full Scottish cooked breakfast or something a little lighter, scrambled/poached eggs.

The fresh produce used in all our meals are, wherever possible, sourced locally.

Stuart and Helen aim to please and will endeavour to make your visit to Dufftown as pleasant and memorable as possible.
