Situated just 14 miles south of Newton Stewart in Wigtownshire, Dumfries & Galloway South West Scotland. it is the ideal location to either recharge your depleted batteries, or as a base to explore what riches Galloway has to offer.
The flexible accomodation offers en-suite rooms within the Scottish Tourist Board 3* (Visit Scotland) B&B farmhouse. For those who wish to self cater, there is the Scottish Country Cottages 4*, one or two bedroomed cottages, aptly named, 'Peace and Quiet.' Further nore, there is a 33ft 4 berth static caravan, the choice is yours.
Bed & breakfast in the farmhouse is available from February to the end of October whilst self catering in either the cottages, or caravan, is available throughout the year.
The Area
Wigtownshire is renowned for both the Galloway hills to the north, and the beautiful beaches around Luce Bay and the Solway Firth, with the Isle of Man only eighteen mile to the south accross the Irish Sea.
East Culkaes' ideal placement, offers a base, which is quite central to most of the major points of interest for you to enjoy, in this totally unspoilt corner of southern Scotland, the Wigtownshire peninsula.
