Magnificently situated overlooking the islands of Eddrachillis Bay, this 200 year old building has been carefully refurbished and extended to provide modern comfortable bedrooms but retaining the charm and character of older times in the stone walls and flag-stoned floors of the breakfast room. The dinning room is situated in the conservatory overlooking the bay, so you can enjoy one of the best views in Scotland. Open April to October inclusive Fully licensed. Close to Handa Island bird sanctuary. Red and roe deer, seals, otters and badgers can be seen in and around the hotel grounds. All bedrooms fully equipped with Private bath or shower room, Direct dial telephone, radio and TV,Tea maker and hair dryer., trouser press and ironing facilities. The hotel is fully licensed with over 140 single malt whiskys, an extensive wine list. The cooking is a combination of French and Scottish cuisine, using locally caught fish and shellfish. We do our own smoking in our en-site smoke house.Use Scottish meats from high quality local producers and we are commended by EATScotland and have been recommended in the Michelin Guide since 2007. For hill walkers there is a wide variety. The higher and most individual mountains are within easy reach of Scourie, while nearby one can walk and enjoy the wild and rugged scenery of the hill, rocks and thousands of small lochs set in a landscape without a sign of man's existence.
