A warm welcome awaits you at Edenmouth, our cottages offer you home from home comfort, all are on ground level with 'no' steps , all are fully centrally heated and all bedrooms have ensuites.
The spacious LODGE sleeps 6 in three bedrooms, two are twin bedded rooms one has a king sized double bed, all have either shower rooms or bathroom ensuites. There is a large lounge and separate fully euqipped kitchen and dining room which has a bed settee to accommodate an extra guest. Opening onto a large lawn area the Lodge cottage has lovely uninterrupted views accross the Tweed valley to the Cheviot Hills
The DOVECOTE is an ideal cottage for couples as it has a king sized double bedroom (can be made into two singles if preferred) with an ensuite shower room and a large open plan lounge / diner / kitchen. Opening onto a large lawn area it has great southerly views towards the Cheviot Hills.
The COURTYARD is a cosy two bedroomed cottage with walk in wetrooms, ideal for the less able as it has easy access. This cottage has an enclosed garden.
There is plenty of parking outside each cottage.
Edenmouth is set in 12 acres of farmland so is the choice of families or couples wanting a relaxing break as well as golfers, cyclists and walkers. Its proximity to the River Tweed makes it an ideal base for fishermen and our abundant wildlife is a joy for naturists and birdwatchers. At certain times of the year Osprey can be seen fishing the Tweed. We have a lock up store and outdoor cleaning facilities for bikes as well as a drying/laundry room.
Edenmouth is situated just 3 miles from the beautiful town of Kelso which is steeped in history, not least the magnificent Floors Castle, home to the Duke and Duchess of Roxburgh. Kelso offers great independent shopping and dining to suit all tastes. It is an easy drive to Edinburgh or to explore the Borders and Berwick upon Tweed and the Northumberland coast.
Exciting develpoments in nearby Galashiels means the Waverley Railway line will open in September 2015 offering easy and scenic rail link to Edinburgh.
The Scottish Borders is an 'all year' destination and our cottages are equipped to take account of all the seasons. There are many places of interest to visit and stunning walks from the farm and nearby. We have an array of books, maps, and local information and are happy to help in any way we can to help make your stay a memorable one.
Edenmouths flexible accommodation is ideal for groups or clubs, we can sleep up to 16 people. If your trip is a short one we can offer B & B at very reasonable rate.
Your dog is welcome to come to stay with you at Edenmouth but not in all cottages so please check first.
