The bright, well proportioned living/dining room has high ceilings and two big windows, with working shutters, which look directly at Edinburgh Castle as shown in the photograph - there are no other buildings to obstruct the view! There is a desk, flat screen tv, radio, ipod docking station and well stocked bookcase with reading on Scottish history and Edinburgh. Enjoy fabulous views from your dining room table.
The apartment sleeps two people very comfortably with a new king size bed in the bedroom or optional sofa bed in the sitting room. Enjoy a peaceful nights sleep with luxurious bedding - the bedroom window overlooks internal gardens, and the full length curtains have blackout linings.
The bathroom is fully modernised with bath and overhead shower. Visitors have the use of complimentary bathrobes and luxury toiletries.

Edinburgh Castle and The Royal Mile are just a short stroll away. The Royal Mile (High Street) is lined with historic attractions, museums, pubs and shops. Around the Grassmarket area you will discover the many bars, restaurants and querky shops in this historic part of town. Princes Street Gardens is just across the road - here you can sit and relax and gaze upon the Castle towering above you.
The main museums, theatres and art galleries are all close by and the Edinburgh sightseeing tour bus stops just across the road. You will not require transport to get you around the city centre.
Ideal for romantic or city breaks, especially for those who are looking for history and culture. The apartment is located in an historic A listed builidng (1866), originally commissioned by Queen Victoria (there is a statue of her on the roof!).
On arrival you will be met by the owner who will show you how everything works in the apartment. You will receive a complimentary welcome pack.
Enjoy a wide variety of local restaurants including the famous Castle Terrace Michelin restaurant, just next door. Edinburgh's famous Farmer's Market takes place in the street outside every Saturday morning - here you can buy a wide range of organic Scottish produce.
