EXCELLENT CENTRAL LOCATION. One-bedroom, self catering apartment (sleeps 2) in a quiet city centre street, only a couple of minutes walk from the west end of Princes Street.
ATHOLL CRESCENT LANE APARTMENT is ideally situated for exploring the city or working in the business district. Close by are the Conference Centre, Haymarket Station, a cinema and two theatres. Shops, restaurants and cafes are just around the corner on Shandwick Place. There is metered on-street parking nearby and a 24 hour car park only 5 minutes walk away.
4 STAR ACCOMMODATION
The apartment is on the second floor (third storey) of a modern building with a shared entrance hall and stairway. The apartment has gas-fired central heating with radiators in all rooms.
Living Room: Sofa (single sofa bed), armchair, TV/DVD + Freeview channels, CD and cassette player/radio, dining table and chairs, small outdoor balcony. There is also a payphone which can be used with a credit card or Post Office phone card.
Kitchen (open plan off the living room): Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board.
Bedroom: Double bed, bedside cabinets, built-in wardrobes and hair dryer.
Bathroom: Electric shower over bath, toilet, basin and shaver socket.
WI-FI INTERNET ACCESS
Laptops / netbooks must be wi-fi enabled. The network code is provided on arrival.
The service is free for reasonable use: weekly download allowance for day and evening use is approximately 15GB. Overnight use (from midnight - 08:00h) is unlimited.
RESTRICTIONS
No smoking inside the apartment (smoking is allowed on the balcony).
No pets allowed.
The property may be unsuitable for some as it is on the second floor and there is no lift.
LINEN AND CLEANING
Towels and bed-linen are always provided. Washcloths (face flannels) can be provided on request. If staying longer than 2 weeks we can arrange to change the linen and clean the flat once every 2 weeks, at a time that is suitable to you.
RENTAL
Rental can begin and end any day of the week. The minimum let is usually 3 nights but over New Year it is 7 nights. Prices are lowest in the winter months and highest in August and at Christmas and New Year.

There are 3 ways to book:

POST/FAX - print a Booking Form from our website and post or fax the completed form to us. Please reserve your dates by email or phone before sending the form to us.
*When booking online through www.VisitScotland.com an initial deposit of 10% is charged by VisitScotland. The remaining deposit and/or balance will be payable to Edinburgh Self-Catering who will contact you for your card details soon after you have booked.
PAYMENTS
when booking OVER 1 MONTH before your arrival date: a deposit of 30% will secure your booking. The remaining balance will be due 1 month before arrival.
When booking LESS THAN 1 MONTH before your arrival date: the full amount will be due on booking.
