CITY CENTRE STUDIO APARTMENT WITH VIEW OF EDINBURGH CASTLE.
Grassmarket Studio is in an ideal location for visitors to Edinburgh as it is just a short walk from Princes Street, the Old Town, the Royal Mile and the Castle.
Museums, galleries and tourist attractions are just 10-15 minutes' walk away, and close by are a concert hall, theatres, cinemas, an internet cafe, bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as Princes Street Gardens.
Suitable for 1 or 2 guests it is a bright and comfortable apartment with a living room/double bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. The apartment is in a private residential apartment block (called Webster's Land) on West Port, a street just off the Grassmarket.
3 STAR ACCOMMODATION
Although on the fourth floor, it is reached by just 2 short flights of stairs from the main entrance gate which is at 3rd floor level. The studio flat has electric heating and Wi-Fi internet access.
Lounge/Bedroom: Double bed, sofa, fitted wardrobes, hair dryer, TV / DVD + Freeview channels, Wi-Fi, CD stereo, payphone. (Single foldaway Z-bed also available).
Kitchen: Table and chairs, washer-dryer, electric cooker, microwave, fridge (with ice compartment), toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board.
Bathroom: Electric shower over bath, toilet, wash hand basin, shaver socket.
CHILDREN'S EQUIPMENT
Baby's travel cot with bedding available.
LINEN AND CLEANING
Towels and bed-linen are always provided. Washcloths (face flannels) can be provided on request. If staying longer than 2 weeks we can arrange to change linen and clean the flat once every 2 weeks, at a time suitable to you.
RESTRICTIONS
The property may be unsuitable for some as it is reached by approx 20 stairs.
No pets allowed.
No smoking allowed.

Payphone provided which can be used with a credit/debit card or phonecard.
WI-FI INTERNET ACCESS
Laptops and netbooks need to be wi-fi enabled. The network code is provided on arrival.
This service is free for "reasonable use". The weekly download allowance for day and evening use (from 08:00h - 00:00h) is approximately 15GB, so this would be considered reasonable usage. Overnight usage (from midnight to 08:00h) is umlimited.
RENTAL PERIOD
Rental can begin and end any day of the week.
Minimum let is usually 3 nights but over New Year it is 7 nights.
Prices are lowest during winter months and highest in August and at Christmas and New Year.

POST/FAX - print a Booking Form from our own website and post or fax the completed form to us. Please reserve your dates by email or phone before sending the form to us.
*When booking online through www.VisitScotland.com an initial deposit of 10% is charged by VisitScotland. The remaining deposit and/or balance will be payable to Edinburgh Self-Catering who will contact you for your card details soon after you have booked.
PAYMENTS
when booking OVER 1 MONTH before your arrival date: a deposit of 30% will secure your booking. The remaining balance will be due 1 month before arrival.
When booking LESS THAN 1 MONTH before your arrival date: the full amount will be due on booking.
