THE ARC APARTMENT - 1-BEDROOM HOLIDAY APARTMENT, WITH PARKING, NEAR EDINBURGH CITY CENTRE.
This self catering vacation apartment has a great view of Edinburgh's highest point - Arthur's Seat - and is just a short walk from the Royal Mile and the Old Town. It is a bright and comfortable apartment with living/dining room, open-plan kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 2 single guests as there is a single sofa-bed in the living/dining room.
Holyrood Palace, The Queen's Gallery, Our Dynamic Earth, the new Scottish Parliament, Calton Hill and Holyrood Park are all 10 minutes walk away, while a supermarket, post office, bank etc are just around the corner. Theatre, cinemas, restaurants, internet cafes, bars, Waverley Station and Princes Street are just 5 minutes by bus.
4 STAR ACCOMMODATION - the accommodation is on the third floor with a shared car-park, entrance hall and lift. There are electric heaters in all rooms.
Living Room: Sofa (single sofa-bed), 2 armchairs, TV/DVD + Freeview channels, Wi-Fi internet access, dining table and chairs.
Kitchen (open plan off living room): Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, kettle, toaster, microwave oven, iron and ironing board.
Bedroom: Double bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, hair dryer.
Bathroom: Shower over bath, toilet, basin and shaver socket.
Payphone: Can be used with a credit card or Post Office phone card.
Parking: One allocated space in car park on ground floor of the building.
EXTRAS / RESTRICTIONS
- Baby's travel cot and bedding available free on request.
- No smoking.
- Pets considered.
LINEN AND CLEANING
Towels and bed-linen are always provided. Washcloths (face flannels) can be provided on request. If staying longer than 2 weeks we can arrange to change the linen and clean the flat once every two weeks, at a time that is suitable for you.
RENTAL PERIOD
Rental can begin and end any day of the week. The minimum let is usually 3 nights but at New Year it is 7 nights. Prices are lowest in winter, highest in August, Christmas and New Year.
WI-FI INTERNET ACCESS
Laptops and netbooks need to be wi-fi enabled. The network code is provided on arrival.
This service is free for "reasonable use". The weekly download allowance for day and evening use (from 08:00h - 00:00h) is approximately 10GB, so this would be considered reasonable usage. Overnight usage (from midnight to 08:00h) is umlimited.

There are 3 ways to book:

TELEPHONE - 0131 553 6641 (from outside UK +44 131 553 6641)
POST/FAX - print a Booking Form from our website and post or fax the completed form to us. Please reserve your dates by email or phone before sending the form to us.
*When booking online through www.VisitScotland.com an initial deposit of 10% is charged by VisitScotland. The remaining deposit and/or balance will be payable to Edinburgh Self-Catering who will contact you for your card details soon after you have booked.
PAYMENTS
when booking OVER 1 MONTH before your arrival date: a deposit of 30% will secure your booking. The remaining balance will be due 1 month before arrival.
When booking LESS THAN 1 MONTH before your arrival date: the full amount will be due on booking.
