Edmonston House is a contemporary style farmhouse which has panoramic views over the Tweed Valley and sleeps 10. Plum Braes Barn is 5 minutes walk away if extra sleeping space is required for larger parties.

It has a lovely herbaceous border and extensive lawn, new gas bar b q and recliner garden chairs. There are paddocks beside the garden perfect for cricket or football. The River Eden is one field away, which has lovely picnic spots and pools for paddling. There is a new all weather tennis court.

Ideal for family gatherings, fishing parties and reunions. Please see my web site for 2008 prices. We are taking bookings now for 2008. Feel free to call we are always pleased to help. The lounge has an open fire and reclining chairs, a sky TV, video, and stereo. It extends into a sun room which has panoramic views over the Eden and Tweed valleys towards the Cheviot Hills. The spacious kitchen has a large fridge and a round table. Next door is the dining room, also + serving hatch. Also down stairs are a twin room / second sitting room, w.c. and shower, utility room, porch and spacious hall.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms; one king size bedroom with en-suite bathroom; another king size bedroom with a view extending over farmland to the north leading the eye to Hume Castle ten miles away on the horizon; third double room + twin room. There is a bathroom with an overhead shower and an airing cupboard.

All the beds are prepared for your arrival and towels are provided. It is a very warm house and the oil is included in the weekly tariff.
All logs are also included in the price.

There is a washing machine and washing line and an industrial washing machine and tumble drier at Plum Braes Barn which you are most welcome to use.
There is a table tennis table in the garage and an all weather tennis court at Plum Braes Barn.

Edmonston House is on Cliftonhill which is an Organic farm producing oats and malting barley, lamb, eggs, and there are fruit and vegetables including asparagus in May, strawberries in June, black currants in July, potatoes in August and herbs galore.
