Welcome to Etruria Townhouse, a historically protected Victorian luxury townhouse, Etruria is a perfectly located bed and breakfast in the centre of Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.
The town centre, rail and bus stations are all within a 5 minute walk, and a 20 minute drive takes you to Glasgow Prestwick Airport, several world-class golf courses, and the beaches of west coast Scotland. Built and named “Etruria” in circa 1870, the house was originally an estate home of the Duke of Portland, for whom our street is named. Proud proprietors Liz and Alan Johnson have spent the last 10 years extensively renovating Etruria to represent its original stature. With lavishly decorated rooms featuring 13 foot ceilings and comfy beds, a crackling fire, and locally-sourced Scottish fare, you are promised a warm welcome and comfortable stay. Relax and enjoy the wonderful west of Scotland.
Etruria is renowned for its plentiful and varied breakfasts. For those wanting a hearty start to the day we offer a traditional Scottish breakfast, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. A continental breakfast can be prepared for guests looking for a lighter meal or those requiring an early departure. We make every effort to accommodate any dietary requests. Fresh fruit juices, French press coffee, and a range of teas and infusions accompany your meal.
Breakfast is served between 7:30am and 9:00am in our large open plan kitchen.
Check-in time is 4 – 9pm. Check-out is 10am. Should you wish to arrive any earlier or later, please let us know at the earliest possible opportunity. We will do the very best to accommodate.
