Overview
Factors House and Grooms Cottage provide a wonderful base for a holiday in one of the prettiest parts of the region. The accommodation forming part of the listed Stables at Knockbrex House has been recently upgraded and modernised in keeping with its surroundings. Both houses are self-contained but can become one large property by way of a communicating door.Factors House, Sleeping 4-6 has one double and one twin-bedded room, with a sofa bed in the living room. It has a dining kitchen, separate dining room
and a conservatory.
Grooms Cottage, sleeping up to 9 people has one large double bedroom with en-suite and two triple bedrooms with separate bathroom. It has a large
wood-panelled living room, dining kitchen and an upstairs games room.
A short drive gives access to spectacular coastal and hill scenery ideal for walking or cycling. There are several golf courses nearby and Carrick Shore is ideal for swimming, sailing, canoeing and windsurfing. The artists town Kirkcudbright and also Gatehouse of Fleet are only a ten minute drive away with several restaurants and shops available.
