Fairmont St Andrews has an unrivalled setting in the world famous Home of Golf built in 2001 with stunning rugged coastal views over the quaint town.

The 520 acre estate highlights how spacious and tranquil the resort is boasting several sumptuous areas to sit, relax and enjoy the views. The hotel comprises of 209 recently refurbished rooms including 17 lavish suites some of which contain private meeting and dining areas for that intimate occasion. Two luxurious four bedroom manor homes are also available which have complete access to all hotel facilities.

The resort has a plethora of amenities including two world class golf courses The Torrance and The Kittocks. The Torrance being the most popular course has recently hosted the British Open Qualifier 2010 and the Scottish Senior Open in 2010, 2011 and 2012. The course has also won several high class awards including European Golf Resort of the Year 2012 by IAGTO, Golf Resort of the Year 2008, 2010 and 2011 in the GTO Awards, 20th best modern course in Golf Weekly. The resort is gradually being recognised throughout the world achieving the 18th place in the 100th greatest Golf Resorts in the World, International Resort of the Year 2009 voted by Hotel Review Scotland and named by Expedia as within the World's Top 1% of Hotels. The golf facilities include a driving range, a pitch and putt area and a short game practice space and buggies are also available. The golf courses are well known as relatively challenging with stunning coastal views.

Conference
The resort conference centre is the largest in Scotland with over 15,000 square feet of diverse, state of the art, conference space, able to accommodate from 12 to 600 persons. The largest space measures at 6,179 square feet and has direct external access. In the past the Robert Burns Ballroom has hosted dinners, balls, conferences, exhibitions, award ceremonies and weddings. Fairmont St Andrews are also proud to have a 106 seat permanent theatre which boasts a built in sound system and audio visual equipment. This venue was the host to the G20 Finance Ministers Summit in November 2009. Ten flexible meeting areas are available all with natural daylight and external access and the traditional Founders Boardroom encompasses stunning views over the coast and St Andrews. Our 80 ft high, glass topped Atrium acts as an excellent pre function or main function space, ensuring a wow factor on entry to the event. To ensure that all events and conferences run smoothly we have a dedicated event co-ordinator team who have the ability to tailor all events to the individual brief.

Spa
Our recently refurbished Signature Spa offers twelve themed treatment rooms including our couple's suite and male grooming room. There are also two relaxation areas which can seat up to eight individuals for a girly afternoon or a relaxing family break. Kerstin Florian and The Highland Soap Company products are used during the treatment and are available to purchase in the Spa reception. Guests are given a full consultation prior to treatments in the Spa to ensure that all experiences are extremely personal. The 16 meter pool with comfortable lounger's, sauna and steam room complete the relaxation facilities. A fully equipped gymnasium with state of the art cardio vascular machines has an abundance of personal trainers and many popular classes including pilates, spinning and boxercise. On entry to the Spa, guests are shown to the luxury changing facilities where free lockers, slippers and fluffy robes are provided.
