    A house with character and charm set in its own private grounds overlooking the Tummel Valley. We are well within walking distance of the town centre, Theatre and Salmon Ladder.Situated opposite Bells Whisky Distillery. German is spoken.

    Fasganeoin is a family run, charming Victorian country house of the 1870s standing at the start of the town opposite the Bells whisky distillery and at the junction of the road leading to the famous Pitlochry Festival theatre, dam and fish ladder.

    With large secluded garden and peaceful view of the Tummel Valley, it is a place to relax and an ideal point from which to explore the surrounding countryside.

    The house is comfortably furnished with period pieces in keeping with its charachter.

    Teas, coffees and home baking are available throughout the day,served in our guests lounge or in the garden if weather permits. 

    Smoking is not permitted within the building ,however a cigarette may be enjoyed in the garden.

    This is our 49th season of providing  a homely atmosphere for our guests.

     A very warm welcome is extended to all our  visitors. German is spoken fluently, which may be of assistance.

    Road Directions

    When approaching from the South leave the A9 when signed for Pitlochry. The BP garage will pass your left side with Bells Distillery on the right..

    Bridge Road, signed " Festival Theatre",is a sharp turn to the left. Our driveway is just past this, running parallel to the main road into Pitlochry.


    From the North you must travel through the town, passing under the railway arch. Our entrance is approx 100 metres on the right side directly before the right turn to Bridge Road. 

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- From Pitlochry Tourist Information Centre turn left carrying on under the railway bridge. After approximately 100m, you will reach the signs for Bell's Whisky Distillery. Turn right there and you will see the sign for Fasganeoin House.

    Getting there by railway:- From Pitlochry railway station walk to the High Street. Turn right down High Street. Walk for ten minutes, under railway bridge underpass, then after approximately 100m, you will reach the signs for Bell's Whisky Distillery. Turn right there and you will see the sign for Fasganeoin House.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh or Glasgow head for Perth. Follow the A9 for Inverness. Branch off at Pitlochry. First hotel on the left as you enter town.
