Nethy Bridge, known as the Forest Village, is situated in the heart of Strathspey and the Cairngorms National Park. The village has an excellent village shop, butcher, two hotels, golf course, tennis courts, bowling green, indoor bowling and a wide network of forest walks.
The Cottage comprises 3 bedrooms (one double, one twin and a single), open plan dining kitchen/living room and bathroom with both a bath and shower. There is a sixth bed available on request as well as a cot and high chair. The garden provides both a safe area for children and a drying area. There is also lockable covered storage facilities for bikes and skis.
The cottage is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/hob, auto washer/dryer, television, dvd player and books and games for the family. Linen, towels and logs for the wood burning stove are also provided and there is electric heating throughout. This cottage is truly a home from home!
Local attractions and amenities include mountain activities, cycling, skiing (30 minutes to both Cairngorm and the Lecht ski areas), water sports, fishing, golf, bird watching on the Abernethy RSPB reserve and the historic Abernethy Highland Games held traditionally on the village playing field.
