The Foresters House is situated in the Marina Village of Inverkip on the beautiful Clyde Coast. The area is famous for it's stunning scenery, lochs, golf courses, sailing, maritime history and fresh seafood and is known as the Gateway to the Highlands.
The house previously occupied by the Head Forester of Ardgowan Estates has been carefully modernised to retain its old charm and provide a high standard of accommodation.

The village has 3 good restaurants. The Innerkip Restaurant in The Inverkip Hotel, The Chartroom Restaurant at The Inverkip Marina and Italian Bistro Restaurant Cafe Bongio are less than 10 minutes walk from the house.
The Foresters House is near Greenock and Gourock you are able to commute to any location in these towns in less than 15 minutes.

Inverkip Village is near Largs and only 10 minutes from ferries to Bute and Dunoon.

There are direct train links to Glasgow which takes 45 minutes, Glasgow International Airport is 30 minutes away and forty minutes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport. For those arriving by boat we are a five minute walk from Inverkip Marina.


The Foresters House is ideal as a touring base. Edinburgh ,Glasgow, Stirling, Loch Lomond and The Burns Country are all less than 80 minutes by road or Rail.
