    Occupying a commanding position above the bay, Galahill has spectacular southerly views across the River Forth to Edinburgh and the Royal Yacht Britannia.

    From the balcony, you can look east over the bay to Burntisland's renowned Blue Flag beach only 200 yards away. Or you can relax in the garden with a glass of wine and watch the boats sail past. The large (30 feet) Sun Lounge /Diner has a dining table seating 10 and lounge with feature fireplace. The patio doors lead out to the mature garden with four distinct and private seating areas. You can have breakfast on the patio, sit on the terrace or relax on the decking area, ideal for watching the sun set over the water. There is another lounge with panoramic window and wide screen TV/DVD. The kitchen is well equipped with a breakfast area seating 4. Kids can entertain themselves at the Beacon Leisure Centre with swimming pool and flumes, within 200 yards, or in the play parks on the Links behind the beach. Burntisland's High Street is a 5 minute walk away with a variety of shops, pubs and eating places and Edinburgh city centre can be reached in only 45 minutes by train or car.

    All in all this is the perfect family house in a location which can satisfy all needs for
    an enjoyable holiday for the whole family.

    Road Directions

    From the Forth Bridge, take the second exit on the M90 signposted Inverkeithing / Dalgetty Bay and turn right at the roundabout, taking the "Coastal Trail" towards Dalgetty Bay / Aberdour / Burntisland. On entering Burntisland, go straight on at the first roundabout. At the second roundabout, turn right signposted Kirkcaldy and drive down the hill to the mini roundabout at the Links. Turn right at the mini roundabout then left into Links Place. Follow the road round to the left, towards the Leisure Centre. At the mini roundabout, go straight on for no more than 10 yards and you will see a sign for Galahill on the road to the right. Turn into the driveway at the left of the Galahill sign and the house is at the top of the driveway.

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- From Kirkcaldy Tourist Information Centre head West along town's main Esplanade Road heading for the Forth Road Bridge via coastal road the A921. Continue through village of Kinghorn and into Burntisland. At the mini roundabout after the Links, go straight on and then left into Links Place. Follow the road round to the left, towards the Leisure Centre. At the mini roundabout, go straight on for no more than 10 yards and you will see a sign for Galahill on the road to the right. Turn into the driveway at the left of the Galahill sign and the house is at the top of the driveway.

    Getting there by railway:- From Burntisland Railway Station head up steps onto West Leven Street. Turn right and continue east along East Leven Street along a small cobbled street to Links Area. Follow the road towards the Leisure Centre. At the mini roundabout, go straight on for no more than 10 yards and you will see a sign for Galahill on the road to the right. Turn into the driveway at the left of the Galahill sign and the house is at the top of the driveway.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport follow signs for the Forth Road Bridge. From the Forth Bridge, take the second exit on the M90 signposted Inverkeithing / Dalgetty Bay and turn right at the roundabout, taking the "Coastal Trail" towards Dalgetty Bay / Burntisland.
