This 19th Century detached cottage, set in ¾ acre, has panoramic views over the river Garry and to Blair Atholl and the mountains beyond. A bridge to the village is yards from the garden gate.
It's a 5 minute walk to the local newsagent, train station, Post Office and two public bars. Blair Castle and its grounds are also close by with lovely walks for all ages. The village also has a country life museum, working water-mill and coffee shop offering free WiFi, a small swimming pool (with Sauna and Steam Room) and a 9 hole golf course with club house, bar and restaurant.
Cycle hire is available locally and there is a 1 mile cycle path below the house. Hill walking, adventure sports, riding and fishing are also available in the area.
Pitlochry, some six miles south, has many restaurants, pubs and shops, offering two distilleries and the famous Pitochry Festival theatre with constantly changing programme of events. The illustrious House of Bruar is a mere 2 miles further north. The property provides an excellent base for touring the Cairngorms, Highlands and further afield. The cities of Perth and Dundee are within an hours drive.
