    The village of Lamlash offers plenty of facilities within easy walking distance e.g. shops, hotels, restaurants, pubs, craft outlets, as well as activities such as golf, bowls and tennis. Take a short walk to the pier for a ferry trip to Holy Isle, stroll along the beach, or just stay at home to enjoy lovely views from the garden or conservatory.

    Road Directions

    From Brodick ferry terminal, drive south on the A841 for 3 miles until you enter the village of Lamlash. The road takes a sharp right turn at the sea front, beyond which you should drive a further 800m and look out for the Pier Head Tavern on the right hand side. Turn up the small road immediately beyond this pub and Gask Cottage will present itself to you after only 100m. There is a parking space immediately in front of the cottage.

    Public Transport Directions

    Getting there by railway:- Trains to Ardrossan ferry terminal depart from Glasgow Central station on a regular basis. Trains are scheduled to meet the ferries, and there is only a very short and easy walk between station and terminal.

    Getting there by ferry:- Take the car ferry from Ardrossan terminal to Brodick. A bus service to Lamlash meets every ferry arrival and departs from the bus/ferry terminal.
