A stone's throw from Princes Street, this fabulous ground floor apartment combines historic features with modern ambience in a cosmopolitan city centre area of distinctive shops & eateries.
The apartment provides the self-catering equivalent of a boutique hotel, with a strong individual style and plenty of luxurious details. A number of guests choose it as a base for their wedding or honeymoon, but whatever the reason for staying we like to make all our guests feel special. Perhaps that is why many of them choose to return.
The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Waverley Train Station, the Coach Station and the Airport bus stop. Many main tourist attractions are within walking distance and buses go from nearby to most parts of the city. Paid parking is also available on the street outside.
Magnificent bow-ended living room with curved doors, high ceilings, sash windows, working shutters & fireplace. Equipped with flatscreen freeview TV & built-in DVD player and CD player with ipod dock.
The bedroom is quietly located at the rear of the property overlooking neighbouring gardens with 4-poster king size bed, hairdryer & alarm clock.
The traditional hand-painted kitchen has granite worktops and high quality appliances (oven, hob, integrated fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer & microwave). It is fully supplied with good quality crockery, glassware & cooking equipment. View onto gardens.
The bathroom is equipped with whirlpool bath, shower & underfloor heating.
You can dine at the large table in the living room or less formally at the table in the kitchen. The apartment has original features throughout and many interesting & original artworks. There is a CD and DVD library and many books & games with a Scottish flavour.
We supply a complimentary Welcome Pack and guests can specify their requirements from the Bedding Menu. There are plenty of fluffy towels, Egyptian cotton bedlinen & toiletries.
There is wireless broadband throughout; hot water & gas central heating are included in the price. We issue a full list of the many extras supplied prior to the start of guests' stay.
