At Gladstone House we offer our guests elegant four star bed and breakfast accommodation with private car parking less than a mile from Edinburgh City Centre and within easy walking distance of many of Edinburgh's historic and cultural "must see" locations.

We have your comfort in mind at all times, from the welcoming hospitality tray to the plump pillows on your bed for a good night's sleep. After an exciting day in Edinburgh why not relax and watch the wide screen digital TV in your room or perhaps have a refreshing shower and enjoy our range of toiletries and white fluffy towels. While you unwind browse through our extensive Guest Information pack to choose a local restaurant or keep your family and friends up to date on our free Wi-Fi.

Road Directions

We recommend that you take the A720 City Bypass to the Sheriff Hall Roundabout where the A7 meets the bypass, take exit A7 City Centre to Cameron Toll Roundabout and following signs and lane markings for the Old Town round under the railway bridge, then first left onto Dalkeith Road (A7) for approx 1 mile and Gladstone Guest House is situated on left hand side.

From the nearest information centre:- From there take a taxi to Gladstone House or walk the short distance to Princes Street. From Princes Street take any of Bus Numbers 30, 33 or 86 from the shop side of the street. Get off at the stop after the Royal Commonwealth Pool. We are located on the other side of the road opposite this stop

Getting there by railway:- Either take a taxi from the taxi rank to Gladstone House or take the exit to Princes Street.
