A warm Scottish welcome awaits you at Glebe Country HouseTarbet only a short stroll from the shores of Loch Lomond within the picturesque village of Tarbet where guests can experience the tranquility and privacy afforded by an ideal countryside setting, where our aim is for you to enjoy every comfort and hospitality within our home. The house sits in a quiet and peaceful location within its own grounds away from the main road looking down towards the world famous Loch Lomond (the biggest loch in the UK). The views from the shores of Loch Lomond are breathtaking, and even more impressive from the peak of Ben Lomond (height of 974 m, 3,193 ft), which can be climbed from Rowardennan.

Visit http://www.cruiselochlomond.com/ for details of ferry timetables from Tarbet to Rowardennan and enjoy bagging your first munro. Picnic packs available by prior arrangements. Guaranteed to be a great day out.

Breakfast is normally served daily in our dining room at your own table between 8am and 9am. There is plenty of choice, allowing you to have a different breakfast every morning if you like. You can choose a full traditional Scottish breakfast or something lighter and there is always freshly baked bread and scones available.

There are a variety of hotels and restaurants close by and we are happy to make dinner reservations on your behalf. Our local restaurant which is a 10 minute walk from the house is an old converted church, serving traditional Scottish cuisine. Visit them at http://www.ballyhennan.com/ to find out whats on and to view their sample menus.

We are pleased to offer all of our guests free 24/7 Wi-Fi Internet Access from the comfort of your room, provided you have your own Wi-Fi enabled laptop/device. If not you can use the computer that we provide in the lounge, for free.

For full details of the local area, things to do, places of interest and information about caring for the National Park please visit the official website http://www.lochlomond-trossachs.org/.
