Set in a beautiful glen at the heart of Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms National Park, Glen Tanar Estate offers some of Scotland's most stunning scenery.
We aim to make sure you feel at home while you stay in one of our luxury self catering holiday cottages, enjoy one of the many outdoor activities on the estate or use us as a base while you explore Aberdeenshire. We'll do our best to make your visit unforgettable.
Fishing available on the River Dee and private Trout Loch. Golf, gliding and equestrian centre nearby. Or see more of the estate by enjoying a guided Land Rover Safari and learn about the history of Glen Tanar and how it is run today. Wildlife sightings are not always guaranteed but more often than not you can see wild deer and raptors. Guided walks with our Rangers can also be organised for you. Mountain bikes can be hired from local shop and elivered to your cottage by prior arrangement.
