The cottage is ideally placed for exploring and enjoying the beautiful and varied nearby coastline and beaches to the south and to the north. The picturesque Artists' Town of Kirkcudbright is only 2 miles away, with its many art galleries, museums, restaurants, wildlife centre, golf course and indoor swimming pool. Here you are also within easy reach of the Food Town of Castle Douglas which is only 8 miles away.
Alternatively, head north into the hills and forest where there are ample activities including walking, birdwatching, pony trekking, cycling, fishing, sailing and water skiing on Loch Ken, together with gardens to visit and beautiful countryside to relax in.
