The hotel has a variety of en-suite guest bedrooms, including a triple room and a large family room which comfortably accommodates four people with space to spare. On-site amenities include our restaurant and bar, and a garden cafe/beer garden. Ample parking is available on site in our private car park, set back from the main thoroughfare.
Pleaase note we are closed for refurbishment until 9 Feb 2012. Positioned to enjoy the best of town and country, the hotel is situated towards the top of the Castlegate in Jedburgh, just before Jedburgh Castle Jail and only minutes from the majestic Jedburgh Abbey. For those who enjoy walking, the hotel is very convenient for the popular St Cuthbert's Way and the Borders Abbeys Way as well as many other local walks. Jedburgh's 18 hole golf course is on our doorstep, and is one of many in the region which participate in the Freedom of the Fairways golf passports.
With our private, off-street parking, the hotel is popular for those making a road trip on four or two wheels, since Jedburgh offers the perfect location whether you are travelling north to Edinburgh and the highlands of Scotland, or South to Northumberland and beyond.
The main part of the Glenbank House Hotel is an early 19th century cream sandstone villa with Georgian style architecture. The hotel retains some charming period features, including plaster cornicing, feature fireplaces and an attractive stained glass window.
Alex and Julia Wallace and their friendly staff look forward to welcoming you during your visit. Each room has a TV offering Free-view channels, wireless internet access and tea/coffee making facilities. The entire hotel is non-smoking.
