An ideal base camp for some of the finest rock climbing and hill walking in Britain, the site is popular with devotees of the natural site and offers a wild camping experience with the added advantage of facilities close by. Eight hard stands with electric hook-ups are now available.

    The site features pitches in natural pockets spread liberally across the field and down towards the shore at Loch Brittle. Shower and toilet facilities are located nearby with convenient vehicle access tracks for unloading camping equipment. Glenbrittle also has a campsite shop offering everything from fresh and canned food to camping and climbing equipment.

    A850 from Kyle of Lochalsh to Sligachan, then turn left onto the A863 to Dunvegan. Turn left at Drynoch and take the B8009 to Carbost. Just before you reach Carbost, turn left at the signpost for Glenbrittle.
