Glendale Cottage

Welcome to Glendale Cottage, Stirling Self Catering Accommodation.

Lesley Gordon welcome's you to Glendale Cottage.

Glendale Cottage has recently undergone a major refurbishment program.

This has significantly increased the standard of accommodation offered. The cottage is now designed to ensure that you can relax in comfortable surroundings with home from home comforts.

All rooms are of deluxe standard and are decorated and equipped to maximize your enjoyment at Glendale.

This luxurious semi-detached cottage for four persons is situated within its own private walled garden on a working small-holding near Stirling, with open views across the countryside to the Ochil Hills, and is available for rent 52 weeks of the year. It is situated close to major motorway networks, and is within easy driving distance of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and the Trossachs.
The City of Stirling, known as the brooch of Scotland, provides the perfect holiday base offering a combination of vibrant city life, with proximity to Scotland's first National Park, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs - some of the most spectacular countryside in Scotland.
From its rocky crag overlooking the Forth Valley - the site of seven great battles - Stirling Castle is surely one of Scotland's grandest attractions. Little wonder that, after several Kings left their mark, the castle is an outstanding example of medieval and Renaissance architecture. Follow the gaze of the kings to survey the surrounding area that shaped Scotland's history. William Wallace won a spectacular victory over the English at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297. Discover his tactics at the dramatic National Wallace Monument, home to his massive two-handed broadsword.
Stirling is also Scotland's newest City with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. Whatever your taste and budget, you will find the perfect souvenir whether from the antique shops and galleries or from the more contemporary Thistle Marches shopping center. Stirling also offers a thriving cultural and arts scene with such venues as the Tollbooth Tavern in the "old town", the Changing Rooms in the Crawford Arcade and the Mac Robert Center based in Stirling University campus, which is know also home to the Scottish Institution of Sport.
Stirling is also within an easy commutable distance from Scotland's capital, Edinburgh, with cities Glasgow & Perth, close by.
