Keir & Fiona welcome you to Glendale Guest House, a unique Victorian house built in 1830 on the sea front with spectacular views over Rothesay Bay. Minutes walk from pier and town centre. Off road parking. Freshly-prepared home cooking.
Glendale Guest House was built in 1860 as a private holiday house and we have owned and run the Guest House since 1995. The Glendale has a 4 star rating from VisitScotland and all 10 bedrooms have en-suite facilities.
The house is ideally situated 3 minutes from the pier and town centre, our residents’ lounge provides outstanding views of Rothesay Bay and the surrounding hills.
We offer 10 bedrooms, a mix of standard doubles to sea view doubles, standard twins, standard family room to sea view family room, Four Poster with sea view and single room. All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, flat screen TV (some with DVD) and complementary toiletries.
We have limited off-road parking, but not to worry as space is plentiful. Free Wi-Fi is available.
The large residents’ lounge has a large flat screen TV and Playstation. For those who do not have a sea view room, the lounge is perfect to sit back in and watch the ferriess and pleasure boats come and go or just sit back and engross yourself in a good book.
We do not have a bar, so why not bring your favourite tipple and chill out as we are only 3 minutes walk from the local bars - it’s not a problem to have a good night out and we will point you in the direction of the best places to eat and drink.
If you are the outdoor type we can give you ideas on where to go, what is on and what to visit on Bute.
