Reflecting our personal approach, every room has been individually decorated, and features the full range of modern facilities. Each room has television, full hospitality tray and those nice little touches that make you feel at home. Leave the stresses and strains of everyday life behind you. Here at Glenegedale, we offer a promise of pure relaxation, whether your idea of a good time is a luxurious massage session or an unforgettable round on the famous Machrie Links. For our golfing guests, who may recall James Finnegan, the author of "Blasted Heaths and Blessed Greens" writing, "No mere golfer deserves it, this extraordinary combination of beauty, solitude, and freedom!" allow us to reserve you a tee-off time on Machrie Links only four minutes away! Or why not simply totally relax and allow yourself to be pampered by our island reflexologist and aromatherapist (by appointment). Salmon fishermen will be keen to try the world famous River Laggan, but Islay offers a far wider choice of waters, from mountain lochans and burns to powerful rivers, sporting the enticingly difficult wild brown trout. Or simply walk into the hills and revel in the scenery.
