Gleniffer B&B

Gleniffer B&B is situated on the road from the traffic lights at the Market Square to the Railway Station. It is only 800 metres from the centre of town and just 300 metres from Railway Station.

Gleniffer B&B is situated on the road from the traffic lights at Market Square to the Railway Station.  Because of its proximity to Aberdeen, Stonehaven, and Gleniffer in particular, is ideal for those working in the city but wishing to escape to tranquility in the evening.

All rooms are centrally heated, have duvet quilts, colour TV with DVD/CD, hairdryers, radio alarms and tea and coffee making facilities. We also have FREE WI-FI connectivity. For those requiring it, off-street parking should be available. For foreign guests Anne speaks French, German & Spanish.

Stonehaven has many attractions to offer its visitors, the most outstanding of which is the dramatic and impressive Dunnottar Castle, perched on its cliff top position above the North Sea, which you can walk to from Gleniffer. Beside the beach is the only Art Deco sea water olympic sized outdoor swimming pool in Scotland. Close by is the leisure centre with indoor pool and recreation grounds with tennis courts, bowling green, indoor bowling and putting green and the River Cowie for angling.

At the opposite end of the bay is Stonehaven golf course with spectacular views and dolphin watching. Below the golf course is the Highland Boundary Line where one of the oldest Scottish fossils ever found was discovered. and the coastal trail and walkway also begins here. At the southern end of Stonehaven Bay is the quaint, colourful harbour, the Mercat Cross and Tolbooth Museum. From the harbour, fishing and birdwatching trips are available to the RSPB Bird sanctuary at Fowlsheugh. White knuckle boat trips can be had from MRI. and In the surrounding countryside there are challenging mountain bike trails and numerous pathways and forests for walking. The Whisky, Castle and Victorian Heritage Trails are all easily accessible from Stonehaven which is the gateway to Royal Deeside.

A single occupancy rate applies for the rooms.
