The spacious modern rooms include a welcoming sitting room with a LCD TV with Freeview, a fully fitted modern kitchen and a dining area. The stylish bedrooms sleep six and consist of a comfortable master double bedroom, one double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The large modern bathroom has a bath and shower, and quality bed linen and towels are included in the price of your stay.
Outside there is large pretty garden, perfect for relaxing in and soaking up the beautiful views after exciting days out, a lockable shed for equipment and parking for two cars and a boat. Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
The cottage is an ideal base for families, walkers, cyclists with activities such as birdwatching, fishing and sea fishing all available nearby. Make the 10 minute walk to the village of Drummore or head to the Mull of Galloway, Scotland's most southerly point, where you will find a fine example of one of Robert Stephenson's lighthouses, a fantastic nature reserve and the excellent cliff top cafe, Gallie Craig Coffee House which has a grass roof to ensure minimal impact on the environment. The views from the cafe are breathtaking: on a clear day you can see across to the coast Ireland, the Isle of Man, Wales and the Lake District.
