Gourdon Schoolhouse is situated in the village of Gourdon, just off the A92, where we offer a very friendly & relaxed atmosphere. We are in an elevated position which allows fantastic views over the North Sea, harbour and village. Beautiful scenery for artists, photographers and walkers.
We have 2 ground floor double rooms ( 1 with sea view) and 1 single on the upper floor. There are 2 shared bathrooms. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and comfort. All rooms have TV/DVD, Tea/Coffee making facilities and Hairdryer.

Within easy reach of Aberdeen, Stonehaven, Montrose, Royal Deeside, Carnoustie and Dundee.
Situated on the North Sea Cycle Route and the Coast & Castles North Cycle Route.
Secure storage is provided for 3 bicycles or walking/fishing gear/golf clubs and further undercover storage for 2/3 motorbikes.

Attractions in the area include St.Cyrus National Nature Reserve, Montrose Scottish Wildlife Trust, The Grassic Gibbon Centre, Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre, Dunnottar Castle, and golf courses at Montrose, Auchenblae and Stonehaven.
A train will take you to Carnoustie from Montrose, in 20 minutes.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the sunshine in the large garden or sit in the sunlounge in the cooler evenings. They are also welcome to join the family and friends in their private lounge where a coal/log fire burns in the colder weather.
The village has a pub, shop, fish & chip takeaway/restaurant and hairdresser. Inverbervie is a short walk away where good bar meals are available, an Indian restaurant and Chinese takeaway.
