Gowanbank House 4 Star Luxury B&B is a grand Victorian country house in the heart of the Irvine Valley, Ayrshire.
Gowanbank is surrounded by 7 acres of lush gardens and woodlands, and is within walking distance of the beautiful villages of Darvel and Newmilns. Built in 1890, by wealthy textile baron, Alexander Morton, Gowanbank retains its period features while offering quality, contemporary accommodation. Breakfast is served in our lovely, sunny dining room which has beautiful large windows looking onto the garden and beyond. Located within Ayrshire's rural countryside, Gowanbank is ideally situated to offer a relaxing retreat for holidaymakers while only 15 minutes from the m74 [25 minutes to Glasgow] and only 20 minutes from Prestwick International Airport & 40minutes from Glasgow International Airport.
