Grandfathers house is a four star cosy selfcatering cottage specially designed for couples wishing for a quiet romantic break.

Wild, wonderfully remote on a beautiful rocky coast with many white sand beaches, The Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides – these cottages revel in creativity. You'll love it if you crave adventure, for this far-flung crofting village on Harris's rocky south coast, transforms in spring sunshine into a stunning sweep of wildflowers and birds. Wild walks and the unspoiled beautiful nature are the main attraction; for nightlife, look not for neon lights but stars.

Ganet and Fulmar are sky-blue 5 star family bungalows built to withstand the elements: in winter, cuddle by the stove gazing out at storm-lashed seas. Or bubble in a Jacuzzi tub in all-singing, all-dancing bathrooms with steam showers, small sauna’s, tartan towels. These luxurious self catering cottages enjoy spectacular views over the white sands of Scarista beach and the ocean beyond and cater for a romantic couple or families up to 5 persons. Each cottage has two luxury ensuite bedrooms, the master bedroom with a high quality bed with a memory foam king mattress, Jacuzzi, Steam shower and little Sauna. The other bedroom has 3 single beds (2 can be put together to accommodate as a king size), a steam shower, toilet and washbasin. Gannet and Fulmar have their own ¼ acre plot and private parking.

Grandfather's House is the sweetest, a chunky stone cottage with deep jewel-like windows enjoying limited beach views. Inside are fun furnishings, a wood burning stove and squished under eaves, an open-plan bedroom and bathroom. This lovely cottage with a romantic atmosphere which used to be an old black house, caters for one couple and is popular for a perfect honeymoon week. For those special occasions, champagne, wine, chocolates, flowers can be arranged and put in place with a note prior to arrival.
