Greenlawns Guesthouse is an ideal base for your Highland holiday. The elegant Victorian villa built in 1893 for the owners of the Nairn Steam Laundry, sits in the West End of town some 400 mtrs from the beautiful, award winning Blue Flag beach. The house has 6 bedrooms, each individually and tastefully decorated. Rooms have a variety of configurations double/twin/single/family. Each room is en-suite, some with shower only, some with bath and shower over, and our newly renovated ground floor, room 8, has a separate bath and walk-in shower. All rooms are comfortably furnished with a mix of modern and antique furniture, but all the mod cons one expects from a 4 star guesthouse.
The sunny and bright dining room has an eclectic mixture of antiques, and the individual tables for breakfast overlook the lovely gardens, patio area and koi pond. All ingredients on the extensive breakfast menu are sourced locally and freshly prepared for you. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know prior to your arrival so we can meet your needs.
There are 2 ground floor bedrooms and 4 bedrooms on the first floor. The dining room, residents lounge and reception are located on ground floor. There is a multi-fuel stove in the lounge which is lit on cooler evenings and embraces guests with its relaxing warmth.
Sheelagh is an amateur genealogist and may be able to answer some questions you may have about your local ancestors.
The whole house is wi-fi and this is provided free of charge to guests.
We hope we will be able to welcome you in our home and share some Highland hospitality with you.
