Half of Three is situated in Glenhinnisdal. A beautiful tranquil Glen at the foot of the spectacular Trotternish Ridge.

Half of Three is situated at the foot of the spectacular Trotternish Ridge. It is a beautiful peaceful Glen, Ideal for walkers as there is direct access to the Ridge from Half of Three. Located on a croft, in a crofting community, the accommodation comprises entrance hall, living room/kitchen and staircase to 1 double ensuite bedroom with bath/shower. The Glen is a perfect place to unwind.

There are a pair of sea eagles nesting in the forest at the foot of the Ridge so it is an exciting spot for bird watchers.The Hinnisdal river is perfect for fishing and even swimming if the weather is good!

We are 12 miles from Portree, the main town on Skye and 6 miles from Uig from where the ferries to the Outer Isles sail.

Whatever your interest I think you will find it here. From walking, fishing, cycling, bird watching, painting, swimming in the river or exploring our beautiful island.

Directions

From Portree go north on A87 toward UIG for approx. 12 miles. Turn right into Glenhinnisdal and Half of Three is the second house on the right.

There is a red mail box on the fence and the name in numbers.
