    Half 17 is a traditional cottage and the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful Isle of Skye

    Situated almost at the end of the road, Half 17 is a traditional style cottage with a woodburning stove in the cosy lounge, a well-equipped kitchen and 2 bedrooms, a double and a twin.  (Sleeps 4) There is a newly re-fitted bathroom with shower over the bath.  There are stunning views across the Sound of Sleat to Morar, Arisaig and all the way down the coastline to Ardnamurchan Point.  The island of Eigg finishes off the panorama!  A great place to unwind, walk and enjoy the surroundings whatever the weather.

    Road Directions

    Four miles of single track road, make getting here an adventure in itself. The road is possibly one of the most scenic on Skye, and affords stunning views even before you get to the cottage.

    Public Transport Directions

    Get here by car, on foot or by bike, as there is no public transport!  The ferry ride across from Mallaig is the best way to come 'over the sea to Skye'.
