Overview

You are assured of a warm welcome at this family-run guest house. Each of the tastefully decorated en suite bedrooms has a fridge, tea and coffee facilities, a colour television, as well as many other little extras to make your stay here special. Breakfast is a choice of a full Scottish breakfast with all the trimmings or a lighter, continental breakfast. If you plan to head out early to spend the day exploring, breakfast can be served at a time to suit you. For all other meals Stranraer has plenty of excellent restaurants, cosy cafés and traditional pubs to suit all budgets.

Extensive parking is available and there are a number of private and secure spaces, plus secure storage for bikes and other equipment. Nearby, you can spend the day at Ryan Leisure Centre which boasts a swimming pool, sauna, fitness suite, indoor pitches, theatre and bar, restaurant and the famed Ryan's Den playzone for younger children.

Golfers will love taking on the challenging fairways of the excellent Stranraer Golf Club and surrounding courses. There are also many excellent fishing spots close-by, such as Diniddie Reservoir where you can spend a relaxing afternoon trying to catch rainbow and brown trout. For those who enjoy a wander through a striking garden, there are three famous attractions to choose from - Castle Kennedy, Glenwhan and Logan. For families, Agnew Park is an ideal playground for little adventures with its pedal boats, train rides and crazy golf.
