Hassendean B&B

Overview

It is a stones throw from Melrose, Denholm, Jedburgh and Hawick and is an ideal stopping off point for a tour of the multitude of local tourist attractions or to break your journey on the way north or south.

We are a popular destination for cyclists, motor enthusiasts and motorbike riders and offer secure off road parking, washing and drying facilities. Janet and Les will offer you a warm welcome at Hassendean B&B. The bedrooms are fresh, bright and offer fantastic views of the surrounding area to Ruberslaw Hill. The cottage is a short drive away from Minto golf course which is a popular 18 hole course set on a hill.

There are 1800 miles of easily accessible walking routes in the area including St Cuthberts Way, The Penine Way, The Border Abbeys Way and The Southern Upland Way.

Our mid-terraced converted farm cottage has a double and a twin room designed for ultimate comfort, with private off road parking for vehicles, motorbikes and bicycles. Each room has an en-suite shower room, television with dvd player and complimentary tea, coffee and toiletries.

Enjoy our traditional home cooked Scottish or continental breakfast with homemade bread in our cosy breakfast room. Peruse the wall-to-wall bookshelves and dvd library, or just come down to read. This room is for the use of guests only.

A sauna is available for a small charge and a beautician can be booked for pampering treatments. Free Wi-fi is also available. Rooms are £35 pppn (based on 2 sharing), or £40 per night for single occupancy.
